Problem Definition
Navigation Complexity: The dashboard navigation was not intuitive, making it difficult for users to switch between products and access organization-level information efficiently.
Information Overload: The dashboard lacked impactful widgets and quick actions, causing users to spend unnecessary time searching for relevant information and primary actions.
Content Authoring and Team Management Complexity: The product's complexity hindered efficient content creation and team management, leading to a cumbersome user experience.
Design Criteria
Create intuitive, easy-to-use navigation with quick access to key areas and consistent header elements.
Design dashboards with impactful widgets and quick actions, prioritizing essential information.
Simplify content and team management processes with clear, user-friendly interfaces and guidance.
Redefining navigation
Users couldn’t easily switch between different products within the dashboard, leading to frustration and inefficiencies.
The absence of organization-level data in the navigation made it harder for users to get a holistic view of their company’s details.
Users struggled to find support when they needed it, as help and support options were not seamlessly integrated into the interface.
I redesigned the navigation by introducing product switching controls for seamless transitions, adding organization-level info in the sidebar for quick access, and integrating help and support into the header. This streamlined navigation enhanced user efficiency, reduced friction, and made critical resources easily accessible.
Making widgets meaningful
Unrelated widgets that didn’t justify the information presented.
Lack of impactful information on key widgets.
Poor information hierarchy, leading to wasted space and unnecessary widgets.
Quick actions cluttered with too many options, with ineffective iconography.
I restructured the dashboard by replacing unrelated widgets with meaningful, impactful ones. I optimized the information hierarchy to prioritize essential data, reducing widget clutter and maximizing space efficiency. Quick actions were simplified, and iconography was refined for better clarity and usability.
Wireframes & Ideations
During this phase, I focused on translating complex workflows into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. By creating low-fidelity wireframes, I could quickly iterate on ideas, visualizing the structure, layout, and functionality of key components like navigation, dashboards, and content authoring tools.

I streamlined team management by simplifying workflows and making interfaces more intuitive, allowing users to manage teams with ease. The content authoring process was also revamped to be more user-friendly, with clear guidance and a reduction in unnecessary complexity.
